𝗠𝗔̃𝗢 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔, 𝗘𝗠𝗠𝗬 𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗟, 𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗢 𝗘 𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗔 𝗩𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗢𝗦 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗛𝗢𝗦 𝗩𝗘𝗟𝗛𝗢𝗦 – 𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗣𝗔𝗦 𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗟
From May to September, the Caldas das Taipas Cultural Museum, In Guimarães, the festival hosts concerts, film screenings, talks, theatre, children's workshops, guided tours and even an astronomy night. The 14th edition of this cultural season features more than 20 initiatives for all ages, with free admission.
Over the course of more than 4 months, the public can expect performances from some of the most prominent names in national music. The musical festivities begin on June 6th with shows by Marquise and Rita Vian. On July 4th, Emmy Curl and Homem em Catarse will perform in Banhos. August, the month of the festivities, features 3 days of shows. On the 9th, there's a Fado Night with the Vila Fado Group, on August 22nd the stage belongs to Ganso and IBSXJAUR, and the following day (23rd) the talents made in Taipas take to the stage: Noise at Valve, Correr Andar and Theo.
Finally, on September 12th, the debuting Galeria Incerteza and the timeless Mão Morta will perform, with a DJ set by Jubilee to close the 2025 music season. Open-air cinema on summer nights is another activity that values heritage by revitalizing a historic space that unites past and present in perfect symbiosis. This year, the filming of Tim Mielants' "Small Things Like These" will take place in July. Jacques Audiard's "Emilia Pérez" and Miguel Gomes' "Grand Tour" will have screenings in August.
Finally, theater will also make its return to the cultural agenda of Banhos Velhos. In July, GTAC – Grupo de Teatro Amador de Campelos, one of the most recognized amateur theater groups in the municipality of Guimarães, presents the play “A noite” (The Night). In September, the last initiative of this edition is the responsibility of the ATRAMA theater group, with the play “Uma Noite em Família” (A Family Night).
