Over the years, the village of Taipas has been a destination for various personalities who have marked the history of the country. In the field of Literature, renowned authors such as Camilo Castelo Branco and Ferreira de Castro spent part of their time in this locality and wrote about it. Based on this fond memory and connection to the literary phenomenon, the Municipality of Guimarães, the Parish Council of Caldelas, and Taipas Termal considered it important to highlight this passage of great authors through our land, as well as to revive this fine tradition of having among us and interacting with us major names from the literary scene, as well as from other areas of expression.

The initiative is the result of a partnership between the Guimarães City Hall, the Caldelas Parish Council and the Taipas Termal Cooperative, and will take place on May 30th and 31st.
