The Old Baths are a landmark of identity and history in the village of Caldas das Taipas, in the Municipality of Guimarães. Of Roman origin, this space was used as a thermal spa from 1753 until the mid-1970s, followed by almost 30 years of abandonment. Despite this, the site has always held enormous symbolic value for the local population, and the almost imperative restoration of the building took place in 2010, transforming it into a space for culture and leisure, with programming in the spring and summer.
