Taipas Turitermas CIPRL distinguished with Equal Pay Seal 2023

Today, November 14th, is National Equal Pay Day.

In Portugal, women still earn, on average, 13.1% less than men. This figure is not fixed, as it represents the number of working days in which women virtually go unpaid, while men continue to receive their salaries.

It is with great satisfaction that we announce that Taipas Turitermas, CIPRL has been distinguished by the Commission for Equality in Work and Employment – CITE, for good practices in promoting equal pay between men and women for equal work or work of equal value, with the “Equal Pay Seal” 2023.

The Commission for Equality in Work and Employment (CITE) has the mission of promoting:

  • Equality and non-discrimination between women and men in work, employment and vocational training;

  • Parental protection;

  • Balancing professional activity with family and personal life.

This recognition is a testament to our continued commitment to gender equality and the elimination of the wage gap.
Social responsibility, demonstrated through its support for its employees, proves that Taipas Termal is committed to defining and fulfilling its strategic objectives, as well as continuously improving all its procedures, including the well-being of its employees.

It's time to #bringbackthermalbaths in a fair and balanced environment.
