On September 4, 2015, the inauguration of the renovated Taipas Termal building was celebrated. Therefore, next Sunday, the century-old spa will mark the date with promotions and other surprises, promoting the health and well-being of the community.
The inauguration ceremony for the new building of this thermal spa resort included, in addition to the presentation speech by the President of the Board, Ricardo Costa, speeches by the Minister of Economy at the time, António Pires de Lima, as well as the Mayor of Guimarães, Domingos Bragança, and the designer of the new institutional image of Taipas Termal, Eduardo Aires.
Next Sunday marks one year since the President of the Taipas Turitermas Cooperative, Ricardo Costa, initiated "a phase of greater purpose for the Caldas das Taipas thermal baths." The surgical change that occurred for the health and well-being of the community has made the village of Caldas das Taipas yet another national and international tourist reference point.
Twelve months later, health and well-being remain top priorities for Taipas Termal, just as they were for the Roman emperor Trajan Augustus (as Ricardo Costa stated during the reopening ceremony). New facilities, such as the new physical medicine center at the Medical Health Clinic, the new thermal spa, classic thermalism, and the thermal spa, have brought added value to professionals and users of Taipas Termal, and these improvements have had a positive impact on the company's results. A complex that, in addition to health and well-being, increasingly prioritizes leisure, comfort, relaxation, and culture for all, while also preserving all the memory and symbolism of the building and the thermal activity that make Taipas Termal a historical landmark of thermalism in Portugal.
