After a start marked by strong public participation in all initiatives, the Cultural Museum now enters the second half of its cultural program in August. Until September 24th, there is much to see, hear, and experience.

In music, the highlights include the shows by First Breath After Coma and Noiserv in August, in a very special joint performance; and in September with the premiere of "A Garota Não" to close the 2023 music season. The traditional Fado Night with the Vila Fado Group will also be held in August.

There will also be plenty of educational service activities and history-related talks. In September, the second children's workshop will be held, dedicated to children, and a Night Guided Tour of the Old Baths, for all those who wish to visit this space and learn about its history in a different context. September will also bring a talk about the 75th anniversary of the Caldas das Taipas Tennis Courts.

The theater also makes its presence felt, closing the cultural season with the theme of celebrating the 125th anniversary of the "Banhos Novos" (New Baths). The ATRAMA theater group will present the play "Aquistas," a performative "in situ" event that invites the audience to experience a journey of sensations. The play is created from scratch, starting from the memories of the painter Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso during his time at the Caldas das Taipas thermal spa. This space, portrayed as dedicated to healing, where water is the substance that treats, cares for, saves, and regenerates, is also the place where bodies meet, sharing memories, telling stories, and creating images and sounds. AQUISTAS is an ATRAMA production conceived, written, and directed by Manuela Ferreira.

The cinema will also continue to be present with film screenings on summer nights. In August, on the 2nd, the first event of the month will feature the film The Fabelmans by Steven Spielberg, followed by Aftersun by Charlotte Wells on the 9th, and finally, The Whale by Darren Aronofsky on August 24th, completing the film cycle present in the 2023 cultural agenda.

All events will have free admission.
