The cultural agenda for the month of July at Banhos Velhos offers varied programs designed for diverse audiences. The month begins next Thursday with a film screening at the Caldas das Taipas Summer Pools, featuring the film The French Dispatch – Chronicles of France, directed by Wes Anderson, thus marking the return of summer film screenings to the thermal museum's schedule.
On July 15th, music will fill the Taipas Termal Sports Complex with a double musical show starting at 10 PM, featuring Postcards, an indie/dream pop group from Lebanon, who will be performing in Caldas das Taipas as part of their European tour promoting their latest work, "After the Fire, Before the End". They will be accompanied by Paraguaii from Guimarães, who will be presenting their latest original work from 2021, "Propeller", considered by critics to be one of the best Brazilian albums of last year.
The month concludes with an activity dedicated to all astronomy enthusiasts, the now-traditional Astronomy Night, designed for the whole family, where everyone interested will have the opportunity to see the stars with new eyes. This initiative is carried out in partnership with the Instituto Ciência Viva and is perfect for the whole family, in an event that seeks to promote contact with this fascinating field of science.
All initiatives have free entry/participation.
July brings cinema, music, and astronomy to the Banhos Velhos Cultural Agenda.
