Dr. Vânia Fernandes holds a degree in Psychology with a pre-specialization in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of Minho. She is a full member of the Portuguese Order of Psychologists, holding specialist titles in Clinical and Health Psychology and Educational Psychology. She works as a psychologist in private settings, with extensive experience in psychological assessment and psychotherapy consultations with children, adolescents, and adults. She is also a couples therapist and sex therapist, having graduated from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto. She has experience in providing psychological counseling to couples undergoing fertility treatment and is a recommended psychologist by the Portuguese Fertility Association. She has experience as a psychologist in a school setting and is accredited for specialized assessment in the context of early entry or postponement of enrollment in the 1st cycle of basic education by the Regional Health Directorate (DREN). She has experience in training and coordinating training programs, mainly in the area of Sex Education.
