Miguel Martinho and Alexandre Abreu, clarinet students from the Calouste Gulbenkian Conservatory of Music in Braga, were the stars of a clarinet recital last Thursday in the new auditorium of Taipas Termal.
Accompanied on the piano by Professor João Tiago Magalhães, Professor Patricia Ventura, and Daniela Fernandes, they performed works by Carl M. Von Weber, F. Poulenc, A. Messager, H. Sutermeister, and W. Osborne. Miguel Martinho, from Caldas das Taipas, and Alexandre Abreu, from Tibães, are in their final year of instrumental studies at the Calouste Gulbenkian Conservatory of Music in Braga, in the clarinet class of Professor Alcina Azevedo.
