Taipas Termal congratulates Dr. Hélder Pereira, Director of the International Center for Sports Traumatology at the Taipas Termal Health Clinic, as well as the team that accompanied him in the development of this scientific work on the treatment of meniscus injuries, which has received worldwide recognition.
The working committee, which includes the orthopedic surgeon from Taipas Termal, Dr. Hélder Pereira, worked on the preparation of a scientific document on the treatment of meniscus injuries.
Hélder Pereira, Director of the International Center for Sports Traumatology at the Taipas Termal Health Clinic, was awarded the highest prize from the European Society of Sports Traumatology (ESSKA) for the 2014-2016 period, during the last congress held on May 6th, for the work developed over the last 2 years, aiming to establish the state of the art and new indications of good practices, considering all the recent technical developments in meniscus surgery.
Hélder Pereira is the youngest member of the board of the European Society of Sports Traumatology (ESSKA), the most important scientific society in this area at the European level, and was also elected president of the ankle and foot section of ESSKA.
