Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Hélder Pereira, from Taipas Termal, presented a lecture on "Current Concepts on Ankle Sprains" to several prominent figures in Brazilian football (Fernando Santos, Paulo Bento, Nuno Espírito Santo, Domingos Paciência, Henrique Calisto, Jaime Pacheco, Professor Neca, João Alves, among others) and some international guests (Ruben Jongkind, head of training at Ajax and the Cruyff School). He highlighted surgical innovations and the excellent rehabilitation work of Dr. Antônio Cunha and Professor João Pedro Pereira from the Taipas Termal International Center for Sports Traumatology. Dr. Sérgio Araújo, Director of the Cooperative, was also present.
