Last Friday, the seminar “The Modernization of Tourism in Guimarães vs. the Reception Technician Profession” took place, organized by 12th-grade students of the Professional Reception Technician Course at Taipas Secondary School.
Among the panel of speakers were Professor Dr. Laurentina Vareiro, professor at IPCA, Dr. Vitor Marques, Senior Tourism Technician at the Guimarães City Council, Dr. Agostinho Peixoto, from Turismo Porto e Norte, and Dr. Natália Maia from the Pestana Group, whose interventions contributed to a more detailed reflection on the role these young people can play in such an important sector of the local economy as Tourism.
Taipas Termal, as a partner of the Taipas Secondary School, could not fail to be present on this important topic, not only regionally but also locally.
Over the past few years, Taipas Termal has hosted students from Taipas Secondary School in a work context, allowing them to witness the excellent work carried out by the teachers in the courses we offer and actively contributing to these young people becoming exceptional professionals.
