Taipas Termal formalized yesterday the delivery of gift vouchers to the Taipas Volunteer Firefighters so that the firefighters can recover their energy and relax after tough times at the Vila Thermal Spa.
This initiative by Taipas Termal took place in the Auditorium of the Taipas Volunteer Firefighters, where the Cooperative was invited to attend the Christmas gathering held by that organization, taking the opportunity to present gift checks to the approximately seventy firefighters who make up the Taipas Fire Department.
Ricardo Costa, President of the Board of Directors of the Vila Thermal Cooperative, stated that "This gift is a way of thanking the firefighters for their tireless work, especially during this extremely difficult summer."
The President of the Board of Directors of the Taipas Volunteer Firefighters, Father Machado, praised the values of solidarity and availability. He highlighted the understanding between different and diverse institutions as a fundamental and catalytic element in the development of the territory for the benefit of the people and in building a better world. He thanked and commended this initiative carried out by the Board of Directors of the Taipas Turitermas Cooperative.
Ricardo Costa stated that "The firefighters deserve much more than this simple gift, which represents only a small help in enabling them to recover from their daily efforts on behalf of the population." He further emphasized that "Taipas Termal also has a duty to provide this type of support."

It is worth remembering that at the end of November, Taipas Termal had already honored the Guimarães Volunteer Firefighters with the delivery of gift vouchers, as a way of thanking them for their work in service to the community, especially during the critical summer fire season.
