The Guimarães Volunteer Firefighters (BVG) visited the Taipas Termal building last Saturday, at the invitation of the Taipas Turitermas Cooperative's management. Gift vouchers were distributed as a token of appreciation for the work carried out in service to the community.
Following the visit of the Cooperative's Board of Directors, carried out last August, to the facilities of the Guimarães Volunteer Firefighters and the Taipas Volunteer Firefighters, it was now the turn of the Firefighters team to go to the thermal building to be duly honored.
It is worth highlighting that, in August, the Commanders were presented with a Gift Certificate from Taipas Termal. At the most recent meeting, each member of the Guimarães operational unit was also presented with a Gift Certificate, as a way for the Taipas Turitermas Cooperative to pay due tribute to the women and men who dedicate their daily lives to the health and well-being of others. The Fire Department team also had the opportunity to explore the thermal spa in detail. Founded in 1877, the Guimarães Volunteer Firefighters Humanitarian Association's main mission is the protection of people and property.
The action carried out by the Cooperative's Board is only halfway through, since the next tribute will be for the Volunteer Firefighters of Taipas, who will also receive Gift Certificates from Taipas Termal.
